Delivery Frequently Asked Questions
Who do you use?
We currently use iPOST and Royal Mail to provide delivery for all our items. We are making available Royal Mail's 2nd class option for packages up to 2kg because it is so much cheaper. We do our best to book delivery the same day the order is placed. This would mean your order should arrive 2 days after being placed with iPost (though they do not guarantee). This will be longer if the order is placed between Thursday and Sunday. Orders for our Sourdough breads are diffferent; any order made before 10am on Monday is sent the next day (Tuesday) having been baked fresh that morning. It should arrive on Wednesday but iPost will not guarantee that (obviously it will be longer with Royal Mail). Orders placed after 10 am on Monday will be sent the following Wednesday.
When do they deliver?
They will deliver at any time between 8am and 8pm and do not require a signature. However, if there is a safe place or neighbour they can leave the package, please specify in the 'Delivery Methods' section when placing your order.
What if I miss the delivery?
If you miss your delivery, iPOST will automatically reattempt delivery on the next working day. Alternatively, the driver will have left you a card with a reference number which you can use to rearrange your deliveryby visiting the UK Mail website. If their second attempt is also missed and delivery is not rearranged, they will hold the parcel for 5 days before returning it back to us.
Can I track my order?
You will be sent a consignment number which can be used to track your order from the IPOST website HERE
